Ideal for virtual reality: 360-degree video camera from Samsung

Samsung is bringing a 360-degree camera to the market. The spherical device called Gear 360 was showcased at the recent Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. It has two wide-angle lens that take a 360-degree panorama between them which can then be viewed on a smartphone or a virtual-reality headset.
The 15-megapixel F2 cameras can record video with a resolution of 3840 x 1920 pixels at 30 frames per second and can also take photos. The Gear 360 can connect to a smartphone using wireless or Bluetooth. The images are stored on a micro SD card.
