Ghazi Rashid case: Musharraf's counsel granted 3 days

15 Mar, 2016

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Monday granted three days to former army chief and president Pervez Musharraf for submitting documents in the Lal Mosque cleric Ghazi Abdul Rasheed murder case. Appearing before a single member bench of Justice Aamir Farooq in the case on behalf of Musharraf, Malik Tahir Mehmood Advocate contended that his client was unable to appear before the court on medical grounds.
He further informed the bench that District and Sessions Judge of Islamabad had issued non-bailable warrants for his client after the medical report was submitted in the District court. Seeking annulment of the District Court's order in the matter, Mehmood sought time to submit more documents before the court. Accepting the plea of Musharraf's counsel, the bench adjourned the hearing of case for three days.
