A man from Tehsil Shabqadar has alleged that the police have arrested his teenaged son without any reason and appealed the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) high ups to get him released forthwith.
Speaking at a news conference here at Peshawar Press Club on Tuesday, Rafiullah said that despite approaching the Inspector General (IG) through the IG's complaint cellular phone in this regard but no response has been received from there so far.
"My 13-year-old son, Sajidullah, who is a student of 9th class and has got free from annual exams recently, was busy in accumulating hays in front of his home when police team headed by Station House Officer (SHO) Gul Sher reached and arrested his son him on 2nd February, 2016.
Since then he has been in the police custody without any reason," he alleged and added when he (Father) approached the police station concerned, wherein the police denied arresting him.
Rafiullah, therefore, appealed to Chief Justice Peshawar High Court (PHC), Prime Minister of Pakistan, Chief Minister (CM) and Governor KP, IGP, Core Commander Peshawar to get his innocent son released and take stern action against the police officials concerned for arresting his son.
