Jhagra visits Bara Bazaar

Without caring for protocol and security, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra paid a surprise visit to Bara Bazaar during his visit to Khyber Agency and met with the common tribesmen and shopkeepers at bazaar and remained there more than two hours. He also issued the directions on the spot to redress their grievances without delay. Upon seeing the Governor, a large number of people gathered around him at various places in the Bazaar.
The people warmly welcomed the Governor and showed their gratification. The Governor mingled with the common people, shopkeepers. They apprised the Governor about the problems which they are faced with. On this occasion, hundreds of people gathered around Governor and raised slogans of "Pakistan Zindabad". While talking to the people, Governor assured them to resolve their grievances and said that every possible step would be taken for the uplift of the tribal people. The Governor spent a busy day with the common people of the area.
Governor directed the political administration to ensure the foolproof security of Bara bazar and said that concrete measures should be taken immediately. He further directed that CCTV cameras should be installed immediately to ensure foolproof security arrangements in the Bazaar. He directed the authorities concerned to take every possible step to ensure the provision of best environment and modern facilities in the Bazaar.
