Two women among four killed in clash

Four people including two women were killed and two others seriously injured in an armed clash between two groups in the limits of Golra police station on Thursday. According to the police, the two groups after exchange of harsh wards, exchanged firing over a family dispute in which four persons including three members of a family were killed and two other sustained bullet injuries at Sadat colony.
"The firing resulted into killing of Zerguna, 45, her son Dawood, 22 and daughter Robina, 18", an official said, adding another Ajmal Khan from the opponent party was also killed due to firing. He said two persons Garib Ullah, 50, and Reheem Ullah were seriously injured whereas some attackers escaped from the scene. After receiving information, the police rushed to the scene and shifted the bodies and injured to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for autopsy and treatment of injured persons. According to the doctor, the condition of one of the injured persons was critical, he said.
Following the incident, panic gripped the area as heavy contingent of police reached the site of the incident and cordoned off the area. A senior police officer said according to preliminary investigation the motive behind the killing seems to be family dispute but police have started investigation from the different angles.
