Hamza Amin of Austria and Pakistan No 1 golfer Shabir Iqbal of Pakistan Navy were the leader on the opening day with their gross score four under 68 over 18 holes of the 54-holes 2nd RMI National Ranking Open Golf Tournament started here at PAF Golf Course Friday. Vice President Brigadier Khizer Sultan Rana, Station Commander Peshawar formally inaugurated the Tournament with more than 227 golfers from across Pakistan vie for the top honour. The tournament is carrying 1.5 million as purse money with a 13 CC Car for the hole-in-one.
International golfer and Tournament Director Arshad Mehmood, Secretary KP Golf Association Colonel Zaka Ullah, Director Admin RMI Colonel Muhammad Tariq Khan, international golfers M. Munir, Hamza Amin, Shabbir Iqbal were also present.
