Afghan President Ashraf Ghani Monday telephoned Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and condoled the loss of lives in Sunday's terrorist attack in Lahore. According to a PM House statement, the Afghan President condemned the cowardly act of terrorists. Prime Minister Nawaz told Afghan President that military operation Zarb-e-Azb and the National Action Plan would continue unabated until the scourge of terrorism was eliminated from Pakistan.
"The terrorists are on the run. Therefore, they are now targeting soft targets like children and women. Terrorism has become a serious global challenge. Unfortunately, your country is also faced with this menace," the Prime Minister remarked.
