Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh A.D Khwaja has formed a five member committee to conduct operational audit of the city's surveillance system. In a meeting with his subordinates at the Central Police Office (CPO) on Monday, he directed the committee members to submit the report within next 15 days. According to a statement released by director press Sindh Police Office (SPO), the committee members are: DIG Finance, DIG T&T, AIG Security, AIG Logistics, and Director Information Technology (IT).
During the meeting, IG also reviewed progress on ongoing e-policing projects including police helpline madadgar15, and GIS vehicles tracking system, traffic management, e-driving license and violation management system, and FM Radio etc. The provincial police chief also asked the concerned officers to submit progress report on criminal record management system, case flow management system, and human resource system.
