Rangers in Punjab: PTI leader underscores need for constitutional cover

04 Apr, 2016

PTI Punjab leader Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar demanded complete autonomy and constitutional protection to Rangers to carryout operation against terrorists and other criminals in Punjab as only security forces instead of the government could root out terrorism from the country.
Chaudhry Sarwar was addressing workers convention organised by MPA and PTI women wing leader Dr Nausheen Hamid here on Sunday.
PTI Youth Wing's Waseem Chaudhry, minority wing's Kamran Pervaiz and others were present on the occasion
He said the PML-N government itself was not serious about launching operation against terrorists as well as resolving other issues including joblessness, price hike and load-shedding. He said how could the PML-N, which has made records of failures, criticise the PTI and added that no power could stop Imran Khan from becoming next Prime Minister.
He said Imran Khan was not supporting any candidate in the intra-party elections and added the elections would be held in a transparent manner under the supervision of new Election Commissioner of the party. He said only those candidates would win, who would be voted by the party workers and members.
Dr Nausheen Hamid said the PTI has become the largest political party in the country and it would form the government after next general elections. PTI would drive the country out of the crises and put it on the path of progress and prosperity.
