Mongolia markets US dollar bond at double-digit yield

The Government of Mongolia is marketing a five-year US dollar benchmark bond at a yield of around 11 percent. Mongolia has been monitoring markets since investor meetings were held in mid-January.
It last sold a sovereign bond in June last year, when it priced a 1 billion renminbi three-year Dim Sum bond to yield 7.5 percent. Trade and Development Bank of Mongolia last May sold a $500 million five-year bond with a government guarantee at a yield of 9.375 percent.
