Afghan spy apprehended in Chaman

In ongoing effort to counter anti-state elements after the arrest of Indian intelligence officer from Balochistan, the Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel on Wednesday detained an Afghan intelligence agent in Chaman town, near the Pak-Afghan border. According to FC spokesperson, the Afghan officer was arrested during raid in Shuhdan area.
Explosives and heavy weapons including four SMGs, hundreds of bullets and sniper scope were recovered from a house where the suspect was hiding, the spokesperson added. Meanwhile, Minister for Interior, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan Wednesday appreciated Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan for arresting international spy in border town of Chaman. In a message issued to Inspector General FC here, he said FC Balochistan have sacrificed and contributed a lot to ensure law and order situation in the province. He said the government as well as the entire nation value their services and contributions.
