Afghan nationals asked to leave Torkham in three days

The political administration of Khyber Agency asked the Afghan nationals residing in Torkham, the bordering town, to leave the area within three days otherwise the authorities would take action against them. The notice issued from the Khyber Agency Political Agent Office stated that due to security reasons, it has been decided to repatriate the Afghan refugees living in Bacha Mena area of Torkham, of the tribal agency.
The Afghan citizens were asked to leave the area within three days otherwise they would be forcibly deported them to home towns across the border, a political official revealed. Since long dozens of Afghan families are being resided in Torkham and reluctant to return back to their country on pretext of poor law and order situation in the villages in Afghanistan.
