Seven killed, five injured in road accidents

Seven people were killed and five other injured in different road mishaps in the metropolis. According to rescue sources, Sanober, 26, wife of Shan, Shan, 36, son of Hussain, and an unidentified man, aged around 30, were killed while Salman, 25, son of Lateef, Zia, 30, son of Mustafa, Majeed, 06, son of Faisal, and Mehwish, 30, wife of Faisal injured when an speeding trailer-truck (TLR-330) collided with their van at Jam Sadiq Bridge near Korangi Industrial Area.
The bodies and injured were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC). The driver of the truck escaped away from the scene. According to rescue sources, Naseer, 30, son Ghani, (driver) was killed and one Asif, 35, son of Zaheer, got injured when speeding a truck no. E-9638 collided with their pickup (KG-6707) on the Superhighway near Chakara Hotel, New Sabzi Mandi.
The body and injured were shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. An unidentified men, aged around, 55, was killed when a speeding vehicle hit him near Machar Colony on Maripur Road. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for an autopsy.
In the same area, one Yaseen Gul, 23, son of Haji Gul was killed when an unidentified speeding vehicle hit him near the Machar Colony pedestrian bridge. The body was shifted to the CHK for an autopsy. An unidentified man, aged around 40, was killed when a speeding vehicle hit him near Qayyomabad Chowrangi. The body was shifted to JPMC for an autopsy.
