A high-level meeting chaired by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad on Saturday finalised Terms of Reference of the Inquiry Commission to investigate the Panama leaks being set up in pursuance of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's announcement. The meeting had a detailed discussion on the legislation which would now be placed before the Senate after its passage by the National Assembly. Proposals on pending legislations in the pipeline were also discussed and finalised.
The meeting discussed and finalised ToRs of the Inquiry Commission being set up in pursuance of the announcement made by the Prime Minister to this effect. The meeting also short-listed names of professionals for inclusion in the Inquiry Commission. Minister for Law and Justice, Zahid Hamid, Minister of State for IT, Anusha Rehman Khan, Attorney General Ashtar Ausaf Ali, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Law, Barrister Zafarullah Khan and Secretary to Prime Minister, Fawad Hassan Fawad attended the meeting.
