19 Apr, 2016

Chairman of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chamber of Commerce and Industry Standing Committees on Railways Ziaul Haq Sarhadi has said that the federal government is far away to achieve the export target. Commenting on Strategic Trade Policy 2015-18, he in a statement said that the Prime Minister approved the policy for next three years and set a target of $35billion dollars export, adding that the federal government set ambitious targets as it had failed to achieve targets during last two fiscal years.
Because there was no visible roadmap for gaining these targets, he observed. Sarhadi suggested that a trade company be constituted under the Ministry of Commerce, which would conduct monitoring of the trade policy framework for 2015-18.
