Hot weather to strike Karachi from tomorrow

The Met Office on Wednesday forecast a short spell of hot weather for Karachi from April 22 to 25. Winds are likely to take gradual turn from south-westerly to north-westerly to bring hot and dry air mass to Karachi and other coastal areas cutting sea breeze.
"Day temperatures will gradually increase on Friday from 38 C to 40 C on Sunday and then it will start decreasing attaining the normal level on Wednesday. Winds will start blowing from the sea restoring the sea breeze," it forecast. Met office said that in the coming 24 hours mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country with rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Fata, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
