Police has arrested the killer of three minor children, who were killed on Tuesday night in Karachi's Orangi Town neighbourhood. Mominabad police stated that the accused was apprehended from Orangi Town and Rs 3000 was recovered from him. But the victim families alleged that the accused had taken away Rs 4 lac from the house and killed the children by placing pillows on their faces.
"An eighteen-year-old Hasnain, seems to be mentally-retorted, was working at the shop of slain children's father," said the investigation officer. During interrogation, Hasnain confessed to killing of the children for teasing and making fun of his poverty. He said that he barged into the employer's house to kill his elder daughter but she was not at home.
On the other hand, children's father Sharifuddin said that the suspect was worker at his shop for more than two years. He said he didn't expect such kind of brutal act from him as he was like a family member. Sharifuddin told the police that Hasnain killed his children when they caught him red-handed while stealing money. Police registered FIR against the accused at Mominabad police station. On the other hand, funeral prayers of the kids was offered. Earlier, three children, two girls and a boy, died on Tuesday night in mysterious circumstances in Karachi's Orangi Town Number 10 area. Police said that two of the children, Nimra and Mumbra, were sisters while the young boy, Ali, was their cousin.
