Prices further higher on grain market

A slight improvement in the trading activity pushed the rates further higher on the wholesale grain market on Thursday, dealers said. On the cereals side, Makai low type was unchanged at Rs 3000 while the best quality was higher by Rs 65 to Rs 3125, wheat new Bardan also picked up Rs 30 to Rs 3060, other commodities held the overnight levels, they said.
On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh rose by Rs 40 to 3060-3120, other types did not move any side in the process of trading, they said.
On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh low type was higher by Rs 50 to Rs 2000 and best quality was up by 5 to Rs 2075, they said. Prices were unmoved on the grams sector, they said.
