Activists of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People's Party from PP-201 and PP-202 Multan called on Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi at his residence here on Saturday and announced joining of PML-Q reposing full confidence in the party leadership.
N-League's former Chairman Malik Ashiq Raah, Chaudhry Tajammul Hussain Lambardar, PPP former Nazim Chaudhry Saeed and Javaid Chaudhry said that they are joining the PML-Q because of political vision and wisdom of Chaudhry Shujat Hussain and services rendered by Chaudhry Parvez Elahi for common man particularly people of Multan and South Punjab.
They said that Parvez Elahi had not only established modern Cardiology Centre, Children Hospital, dental College in Multan but also started Rescue 1122 Service, constructed new schools and colleges and also provided free education and free medicines, abolished agriculture tax, ensured procurement of every grain of wheat, provided cheap electricity and water and facilities and incentives for livestock apart from constructing hundreds of kilo meters of roads and bridges. On this occasion, PML-Q leaders Makhdoom Babar, Chaudhry Mohammad Boota, Mohammad Asghar, Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor, Malik Mustafa and Mohammad Usman were also present.
