'Accuracy of Mobile Meter Reading in Fesco is 95 percent'

Accuracy of Mobile Meter Reading in Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (Fesco) is 95 percent and cash prize of Rs 5000 would be awarded to the best Meter Reader of every Division, said Chief Executive Officer (CEO) FESCO Rashid Ahmed Aslam. He said that Fesco was the first Distribution Company in Pakistan which completed the Mobile Meter Reading Project.
Presiding over a review meeting at Fesco headquarters, he said that Federal Secretary for Water and Power Younas Dhagga appreciated the Mobile Meter Reading Project and directed to award cash prize to the Meter Readers who show best performance during Mobile Meter Reading. CEO said that FESCO administration would give cash prizes of Rs 5 thousand to the 23 best Meter Reader of the Faisalabad, Sargodha and Jhang Circles on the basis of meter reading during the month of March 2016.
He said that complaints regarding over billing and wrong billing have removed with the help of Mobile Meter Reading thus Mobile Meter Reading would not only help the consumers but also increase the revenue of the company and decreased in the loses.
The 23 meter readers who are selected for the best Mobile Meter Reading cash prize are included Najam ul Saqib of Abdullahpur Division, M. Iqbal Civil Lines Division, M. Idress of Jaranwala, M. Imran Chiniot, Khalid Hussain Lalian, Nasru Minallah People Colony, M. Awais Samundari, M. Javed Tandlianwala, M. Tariq G.M Abad, M. Asif Nazimbad, M. Arshad 1st Division, Nadeem Anwar 2nd Division, Nadeem Aslam 3rd Division, Abdi Maswar Bhalwal, Niaz Ahmed Jauharabad, Nimatullah Khan Mianwali, Khalid Mehmood Jhang-I, Imran Ali Jhang-II, M Zubair Sultan Bahoo, M. Shahid T.T Singh. Hafi M. Shahzad Kamalia, M. Anwar Gojra and Khurram Anees of Bhakkar Division.
