Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said on Friday that future of the FATA would be decided as per the wishes of the people and no decision would be imposed on the tribesmen. He said this talking to Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Iqbal Zafar Jhagra who met him at Prime Minister House to discuss matters related to the development of FATA. Mian Nawaz Sharif said the government was very much interested in the much-needed FATA reforms.
Appreciating the spirit of patriotism of tribal people, the Prime Minister said that tribal people had left their homes and native places for great national cause and their sacrifices would never go in vain. He said it was his vision that the people of FATA must enjoy the same standard of living that was being enjoyed by the citizens of the rest of Pakistan.
