'Over 200 schools converted into English- medium schools'

Over 200 Urdu medium government schools have been converted into English medium school in Hyderabad district with objective to provide quality education to children and all out efforts are being made to bring the public sector schools at the par of private sector educational institutions. The was stated by Commissioner Hyderabad Qazi Shahid Pervez while speaking as chief guest at the annual prize distribution ceremony of Hayat Girls Higher Secondary School here on Sunday.
The Commissioner informed that special training has been provided to teachers to impart knowledge to students in these English medium government schools so that the future generation could also be able to meet the challenges amicable which they would face after completion of their studies.
He underlined the need for launching crusade against copy culture, adding that this tendency is causing great losses to children and if such menace continues it will destroy their future. There is the need that copying culture should be rooted out from the society so that the young generation could be able to make their future bright on merit.
He praised the services of private sector schools, adding that they are contributing lot in providing standardised learning to future generation.
