Two more model seminaries being established in Karachi, Sukkur

Two more model seminaries will be established in Sukkur and Karachi for imparting religious, contemporary and technical education among students, Chairman, Pakistan Mardasah Education Board (PMEB) Dr Aamir Tauseen said on Sunday.
Dr Aamir addressing teachers, staff and students of Model Madaris said PMEB was planning to affiliate over 200 religious seminaries with it and the number of model madaris will be enhanced significantly to cope with growing needs of the country.
He said, the three model seminaries in Islamabad, Karachi and Sukkar would be imparted state-of-the-art teaching courses to enable them to impart quality teaching among students of the model seminaries run by the PMEB in collaboration with the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony.
Dr. Aamir said PMEB is the need of the hour and the Pakistan Madressah Education Board had been made active after a passage of eleven years. He said English and Arabic language courses will be started at the model Madaris and vocational training would be made compulsory for students of the model madaris and talented students at these madaris would be conferred scholarships.
