Inspector General (IG) Sindh A.D Khwaja has restrained the Crime Branch police from conducting any operations or raids against drug and gambling dens or other social evils. A Sindh Police spokesman said that the provincial chief has issued this direction while taking notice of public complaints and media reports against the crime branch. A.D Khwaja further instructed the said department to only conduct probes into such cases that are assigned to it by him.
