Work on PIC's emergency block reviewed

The Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) Chief Executive Officer Professor Nadeem Hayat Malik along with Medical Superintendent Dr Sohail Saqlain and Chairman Friends of PIC visited newly constructed emergency block of the institute. The representatives of TEPA, LDA and PHA were also present on the occasion. The exterior arrangements including horticultural work, road re-modelling and encroachment removal also planned.
Professor Nadeem Hayat Malik and his team reviewed the progress work of the new emergency block including installation of angiography lab, cardiac monitoring system, ICU facility, mobile radiography units, central oxygen supply system, elevator and other machines installation work. Dr Sohail Saqlain informed that the 100-bed emergency block of the PIC will be the largest in the region and will cater for the needs of acute cardiac patients round the clock.
