From Abhishek Bachchan’s presence in the film to Salman Khan wanting a few changes in the script, everything has been written about Salman Khan leaving ‘Dhoom’ franchise. However, the actor has finally revealed the real reason to leave the project.

As per a DNA report, Salman Khan in a recent interview admitted to not being comfortable playing a villain in a film. With a large fan following, actor is keen on not sending out a wrong message to his fans by indulging in wrongdoings, even on the big screen.

Salman's character was akin to that of Aamir Khan and Hrithik Roshan's, in the previous installments, the role of the antagonist.

However, earlier this year, speculations emerged that Salman had backed out of the film, owing to Abhishek Bachchan's presence in it owing to his differences with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Since Abhishek's character of ACP Jai Dixit had been an integral part of the franchise since its inception.

On the other hand, in an interview to Eastern Eye, Abhishek Bachchan said, “Dhoom 4, as far as I know, is not happening. I have not heard anything from (producer) Adi (Chopra). Usually when Adi is ready with the story of Dhoom, he tells me: ‘Okay, we are ready and this is when we are starting’. He has not spoken to me about that, so Dhoom 4 is not happening as of now”.
