On Friday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX), value traded was PKR 7,995 million and the number of lots traded was 26.94 million. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,839. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 6,833 million followed by crude oil (PKR 1,027 million), silver (PKR 132.91 million) and cotton (PKR 2.27 million).
