Freight train Derailed

Five carriages of another freight bound train have been derailed at Tando Tayyab railway crossing of Hyderabad Railway Junction causing suspension of railway traffic at the down track for five hours on Thursday. According to Station Superintendent Hyderabad Railway, Shamsuddin Solangi, Karachi bound freight, coming from Mirpur Mathelo when reached at Tando Tayyab Railway Crossing; its five carriages have been derailed.
The engineering wing of Pakistan Railways rushed to spot and started clearing the down track which suspended railway traffic towards up country to Karachi, he said and added that as a result of the incident, the Karachi bound passengers trains have been stopped at different railway stations. He said that preliminary investigation revealed that incident took place due to technical fault; however, further investigation into the matter is under way. The Divisional Superintendent Railways Karachi Nisar Memon also arrived here and inspected the spot. It may be mentioned that it was the fourth train accident around Hyderabad in last three days.
