A high-level meeting, presided by MD, SITE Limited, Ghulam Mujtaba Joyo, was held to discuss and evolve modalities for provision of various services in the SITE area. This important meeting was attended by all the stake holders.
The SITE Association of Industry was represented by its President, Junaid Esmail Makda, immediate past President, M Jawed Bilwani, Chairman, Law & Order Sub-Committee Abdul Hadi and Secretary General, Colonel Abdul Latif Dar (R). Deputy Commissioner West, Asif Jameel, SSP West, Captain (R) Ghulam Azfar Mahesar, SP Traffic, West, Arif Aziz, Chief Engineer, SITE Limited, Shamsuddin Sahito, Secretary, SITE Limited, Agha Fakhar Hussain and Javed Qamar, Director, Admin, DMC West were part of the meeting.
Highly important issues of maintaining law & Order and smooth flowing of traffic were deliberated upon. It was unanimously decided that, like previous year the traffic over Lyari Expressway will be regulated for one way from 3:00 pm 8:00 pm during Ramzan. Provision of Cold Water and First aid at numerous points was decided to prevent Heat Stroke during hot summer. Removal of Encroachments and illegal Parking Areas were also discussed. To resolve the issue of Solid Waste Management, various options were discussed and modalities worked out.-PR
