Clarification: Dr Ziauddin Hospital has not received any summons

13 May, 2016

Dr Ziauddin Hospital denies having received any summon or notice from any court, as "mis-reported" by various newspapers regarding a petition filed alleging misuse of amenity plot in Block-14 of North Nazimabad. Ziauddin Hospital also denies that they have not encroached on any land as alleged in the report.
The management of Dr Ziauddin Hospital further said in statement that the Hospital did not claim any right on the plot alleged to be in use by Dr Ziauddin Hospital nor have they used it for the hospital parking. It may have been used by the general public, who are not in control of the Hospital, it being a plain unutilised plot of land. The allegation of it therefore being in used of Ziauddin Hospital is without any basis.
It seems that the order has been obtained by the United Human Rights Commission of Pakistan from the High Court of Sindh on mis-represented facts, made for ulterior motives as it does not carry the true and correct facts and is distorted for reasons unknown to Dr Ziauddin Hospital. Dr Ziauddin Hospital is moving an application to the Honourable High Court of Sindh for review and / or modification of the order by placing the correct version before the Honourable of the court, the spokesperson said.
