Mr Pakistan and Junior Mr Pakistan contests today

All is set to hold Mr Pakistan and Junior Mr Pakistan Bodybuilding contests for the first time in his history of the game will be held at scenic Swat today (Sunday). This has been stated by Secretary Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation Tariq Pervez. He said all arrangements have already been completed and more than 100 musclemen reached scenic valley district Swat.
He said as desired by the Minister Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mehmood Khan, the Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation have completed all arrangements for the smooth conduct of the event with the strong support of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bodybuilding Federation. He said besides players' more than 60 officials including class judges and judges for the Mr Pakistan and Junior Mr Pakistan have already arrived in Swat. He said it is for the first time that Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation have decided to take dope test of each of the contestant so that to avoid those believed in use of steroid and other bound drugs.
He said due to use of drugs so far four players have lost their life due to excessive doses of the bound drug. "We believed the contests should be free from all drugs," Tariq Pervez added. Tariq Pervez paid rich tribute to Minister Sports Mehmood Khan for extending all out financial support for the holding of this national event in Swat. He said the winner of Mr Pakistan would be given Rs 0.1 million as cash prize and a coveted trophy and title while Junior Mr Pakistan will be awarded cash prize of Rs 50,000 and trophy and title. He said players from Army, Police, Railways, Wapda, Islamabad, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan, and from other four provinces including Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would be participating in the contests.
