Presidential address: joint session of parliament on June 2

A joint session of the Parliament would be held on June 2, 2016 for the Presidential address while separate budget sessions of the National Assembly and the Senate would be held on June 3, 2016 for discussion and approval of the Budget 2016-17. President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain summoned the joint session of the Parliament on June 2 (second of next month).
Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Rashad Mahmood and heads of other two armed forces will attend the joint session of the Parliament, according to sources. They maintained that chief ministers of four provinces and Gilgit-Baltistan, Prime Minster Azad Jammu and Kashmir and foreign dignities have also been invited to participate in the Parliament's joint session. Sources said that Finance Minister Ishaq Dar would present the Budget-2016-17 before the National Assembly for discussion and at the same day it would be laid before the Senate. The members of the Senate would discuss the Budget.
