The outgoing Ambassador of Korea Dr Song Jong Hwan called on the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak at CM Secretariat on Tuesday and discussed the matters of mutual interest and relations between both the governments. Additional Chief Secretary Azam Khan was also present during the meeting.
The opportunities of investment in different important sectors including Tourism, Small Industries and Agriculture came under discussion on the occasion. The Korean Ambassador, in his farewell meeting with the CM termed the Gandhara objects as the most effective weapon for the promotion of relationships between both the governments. He also showed his special interest in enhancing mutual relationships with the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He further stated that displaying of Gandhara objects in Korea would help in promotion the soft image of Pakistan throughout the world. The CM Pervez Khattak lauded the keen interest of Korean ambassador in relations with the KP and said that provincial government would take all possible steps in this regard. Pervez Khattak also underlined the need of continuity of mutual co-ordination between both the governments in order to achieve the said targets.
