PTI plays Khawaja's speech down

19 May, 2016

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) laughed off the speech made by Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Wednesday in National Assembly, who once again targeted a charity hospital where poor patient get best possible treatment without any fee. A spokesman for the PTI said that the ruling Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) is in disarray as it knows they have no other option but to form a high powered judicial commission to probe into Panama leaks, involving the children of the Prime Minister.
The ruling government had not even spared Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital (SKMCH), which is an internally recognised hospital where patients, who could not afford cancer treatment, are given free of cost treatment, for political point scoring, he said.
"If there is a facility where a poor patient can get free treatment, the government should appreciate but here it is completely different as priority of the incumbent rulers has always been to amass much as they can at the cost of the poor," he lamented. He also said that the PTI chairman explained everything, but the problem with Khawaja Asif and other ministers of Prime Minister Sharif is that they had nothing else to say except blame game to save the sinking boat of their party government.
