SU observes world museum day

Institute of Sindhology, University of Sindh has organised a seminar at its premises to mark and be a part of "International Museum Day" across the world. The seminar was presided over by illustrious Sindhi writer and intellectual Shoukat Hussain Shoro, Professor Saeed Ahmed Mangi, Incharge Director of the Institute traced out history, purpose, scope and objectives of the day, shedding special light on commendable contribution made to this effect by International Council of Museums (ICOM), he stressed significant role of museum of the Institute of Sindhology, underlining the facts that if served as an affective apparatus of preservation and promotion of Sindhis culture, history, service contribution and civilisation.
Shoukat Hussain Shoro in his presidential remarks observed that it was for the first time ever that he was witnessing world museum day being commemorated at such a grand scale.
