On Thursday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX), value traded was PKR 8,215 million and the number of lots traded was 14,766. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,826. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 5,804 million followed by currencies through COTS PKR 1,532 million, crude PKR 731.73 million, silver PKR 143.55 million and cotton PKR 3.83 million.
