Eight killed after bus falls into ravine

At least eight people were killed and 15 injured when a bus fell into a ravine here on Sunday. The bus was travelling near from Karachi to Panjgur when the incident took place near the town of Naag in Kharan district, Balochistan.
Rescue teams immediately rushed to the spot and helped shifting the injured and the bodies to the nearby hospital.
The country has witnessed many deadly road accidents in recent years. In January 2014, a truck slammed into a bus bringing school children home from an outing in Sindh, killing at least 17 pupils and three adults.
"It was a head-on collision when the truck slammed into the school van on a single track dirt road.
Apparently, speeding and recklessness resulted in the accident," police had said.
