Capital including PM House facing water shortage

Islamabad is facing the worst kind of water crisis and even the Prime Minister House was also affected. According to details, several sectors of the Capital have been facing severe potable water crisis for the last many days and on Saturday the water supply was also suspended to Prime Minister House, Civil Secretariat and other official buildings and residences due to scrape of a pipeline near the Secretariat.
The areas where the water supply has been suspended include Gulshan Jinnah, Gilgit-Baltistan House and Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA).
The CDA officials said Gulshan Jinnah has been facing the water crisis for last 20 days and efforts are being made to overcome it.
On the other side, the CDA and PWD officials are holding each other responsible for the negligence.
The residents of Gulshan Jinnah had met the minister of state for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) and apprised him of the water supply situation.
The minister assured them to resolve their grievances on emergency basis.
The CDA officials said that water was being supplied to the Prime Minister House through tankers.
