The Balochistan Assembly Secretariat notified the suspension of Secretary, Balochistan Assembly, Muhammad Aazam Dawi (Retired/BS-21) for misuse of powers. The Secretary to Speaker, Balochistan Assembly, Zahoor Ahmed has been given additional charge of Secretary Balochistan Assembly until further orders.
A handout issued by the Balochistan Assembly Secretariat, here on Monday night said taht Muhammad Aazam Dawi misused his powers by recruiting his son, Farooq Ahmed against the post of Deputy Secretary (BPS-18), Provincial Assembly and recruiting other persons against the posts from grade-01 to 15 in the Provincial Assembly while violating BEDA Act-2011 and Balochistan Assembly Secretariat (Recruitment) Rules 2009.
