Chance of Nawaz-Zardari meeting can't be ruled out: Chandio

25 May, 2016

Advisor to Sindh Chief Minister on Information Moula Bux Chandio has criticised the drone strike in Balochistan and termed it an attack on the sovereignty of Pakistan, adding that powerful countries must respect the sovereignty of other countries of the world. He was talking to media persons at the inauguration of cold drinking water camp (Sabeel) near Dialdas Club, here on Tuesday. He said Pakistan is the friend of United States not a salve; therefore, the US government must honour the international laws and give respect to their friends.
Responding to a question about the chance of the meeting of the Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif with former President Asif Ali Zardari in London, he replied that he had no information, however, he said that the head of JUI-F Moulana Fazalur Rehman is also in London and any development in this regard cannot be ruled out. In politics, the doors should always be opened for all, he said and added that though the behaviour of the federal government and the federal ministers was not good with PPP, but the PPP is ready to extend cooperation to all for supremacy of the Constitution and strengthening of democracy in the country.
He maintained that former President Asif Ali Zardari never talked against the Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif nor made any remark against democracy. Asif Ali Zardari always emphasised the continuation of the policy of understanding, he added. Replying to another question, he termed those elements who are inviting the Pakistan Army to take command in Sindh as the enemies of the Constitution and democracy.
