KPOGCL, KKK university join hands

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Oil and Gas Company Limited (KPOGCL) and Khushal Khan Khattak (KKK) University, Karak agreed to join hands for better utilisation of CPEC development opportunities for the benefit of the general masses. The decision was made at a high-level meeting between KPOGCL officials and Khushal Khan Khattak University delegation, according to statement issued by the company, here on Tuesday.
On behalf of CEO KPOGCL Raziuddin (Razi), Manager G&G Amjad Ali, Chief Staff Officer Technical Nasir Riaz, Kashif Ishaq and Naeem Ullah (Geologists) welcomed the guests and attended the meeting while Muhammad Anwar, Registrar, Nazir ur Rehman, HOD Geology Department and Dr Muhammad Zubair, Director ORIC (Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialisation) of Khushal Khan Khattak University, attended the meeting.
University delegation appreciated the dynamic role of CEO KPOGCL Raziuddin (Razi) for making effective collaborations with academia. The delegation also lauded the role of KPOGCL authorities for extending warm support to the academia. Manager G&G KPOGCL Amjad Ali gave away geological maps and brochures to university delegates for the students of Geology Department.
Both sides agreed upon exchanging cooperation in the field of Geology and other related matters in accordance with signed memorandum of understanding. It was also decided in the meeting that KPOGCL liaison office will soon be established in Khushal Khan Khattak University, Karak for better collaboration between the two sides. KPOGCL agreed to facilitate three students of Khushal Khan Khattak University, Karak Geology Department during the current summer internship programme and will also facilitate students of the department in the software training being arranged by the KPOGCL.
