Rangers committed to provide security to citizens: DG

Director General Pakistan Rangers Sindh, Major-General Bilal Akbar, has said that Rangers was committed to proved security to the citizens and create a business-friendly environment in the important metropolis of the country.
Speaking at a dinner meeting hosted by S. M. Muneer in honour of former President FPCCI Mian Mohammad Idrees and Senior Vice President Abdul Rahim Jano, Bilal Akbar said Rangers were on your guard at all times and would make all possible efforts to maintain law and order in the city.
He said that Rangers had been highly active in restoring law and order in Karachi and a full-fledged operation was going on against terrorists and criminals in the metropolis. During the ongoing operation, several criminals were apprehended, he added.
He said that Rangers remain committed to the security of the business community and will continue to maintain the current operation as they cannot afford to lower their guard which could once again lead to breakdown of law and order.
S. M. Muneer advised business community not to loss heart, work hard, think positively and move on the right path to make Pakistan economically strong.
To improve economic environment of the country the government had made some important decisions and now it was hoped that Karachi will once again become city of lights, he said.
Jawed Ghori said that due to joint efforts of Rangers and police law and order situation had started improving and economic activities were gaining momentum.
