On Thursday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX), value traded was PKR 4,541 million and the number of lots traded was 9,085. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,832. Major business was contributed by currencies through COTS amounting to PKR 1,906 million followed by gold PKR 1,741 million, crude PKR 865.10 million and silver PKR 28.59 million.
