Local exporters, manufacturers and farmers have hailed the new federal budget for 2016-17 and termed it business and agri friendly. The incentive announced in the budget will surely help in enhancing the export volume considerably and help reduce the problems of farmers' community, they said.
Talking to newsmen on Sunday the SCCI President said that declaring of five industries of Sialkot Sports goods, Surgical Instruments, Leather and Textile garment sectors zero rated is right step in a right direction that indicate government's policies to strengthen and economic development. The step taken by the government will surely help in the promotion of exports of the country and weeding out the menace of malpractice, he said. On export growth the incentive is also a good decision and its radius should be expanded for enhancing the volume of exports of the country, he said. The SCCI President also hailed the decision of clearance of pending sales tax claims in August and adding that clearance of pending cases would be helpful in further enhancing the exports of the country.
