Pakistan has freed 18 Indian fishermen held for violating its territorial waters, a senior jail official said on Sunday. Superintendent of Karachi's Landhi Jail said the fisherman would travel to Lahore from Cantt Station and will enter India through the Wagah border crossing. He said as many as 199 Indian fishermen have been released from the jail this year as a goodwill gesture. Both Indian and Pakistani fishermen are frequently detained because of demarcation disputes in the Arabian Sea.
