Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly, Khursheed Shah on Wednesday reached Dubai to meet former president Asif Ali Zardari. The meeting has come amidst deadlock in formation of joint Terms of Reference (ToRs) by 12-member parliamentary committee. Shah will finalise opposition's next course of action in Panama leaks issue with Pakistan People's Party's co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari. The Leader of the Opposition will also brief the party leadership on the progress made in the matter.
Shah will brief former president about party members' reservations over the financial budget 2016-17 presented by the PML-N government. The latest meeting held by the party ended in vain however, Leader of the Opposition in Senate, Aitzaz Ahsan said that consensus had developed on three out of four ToRs). Federal Minister for Railways, Khawaja Saad Rafique said that opposition's TORs target the premier only and do not talk about accountability across the board which is unacceptable.
