In continuation of its anti-encroachment campaign against illegal business and encroachments, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Thursday carried out operation in different areas of the city against guest houses. Following the directives of the Supreme Court, Enforcement Directorate of the authority demolished several illegal settlements and conducted operations against commercial business in residential areas and removed numerous encroachments.
However, owners of guest houses staged a protest outside the CDA headquarters, while CDA called in police to handle the situation which worsened after operation held in Sector F-7.
