The Islamabad Capital Territory ((ICT) Police has lodged a letter to Chairman Senate seeking permission to question Senator Hafiz Mamdullah of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) for alleged misconduct and threats to a women rights activist Marvi Sirmed in a TV show.
Police sources said that the Capital police, through a letter to the Senate Chairman Raza Rabbani, have sought permission to proceed on the FIR lodged by Marvi Sirmed with Kohsar police station against Senator Hafiz Hamdullah.
