TDPs registration: July 4 deadline set

The Federal Government has decided to annul the registration of all those Temporarily Displaced Persons (IDPs) and victims of South Waziristan Agency, who are not willing to go back to their hometown. An official source told APP here on Sunday that if the TDPs would not contact till July 4, for their return to homes, then their registration will be annulled. So, they would not be able to get the government relief Rs 350,00, he added.
To a question, he informed that government is providing the relief to the TDPs of South Wazaristan Agency of Rs 10000 for transportation and Rs 25,000 for other expenses.
He said that government intended early resettlement of the TDPs, so that they could start and lead a normal life.
