The city police on Friday nabbed nine alleged criminals including carjackers and recovered two cars, five motorbikes and illegal weapons from their possession. A police official said the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) of police booked a bike lifter identified as Bilal Shah and recovered three motorbikes from his custody, which had allegedly been stolen from the limits of Kohsar Police Station.
He said Khana police arrested Tauseef and Jawad and recovered two motorbikes (RIK-6793) from their custody while a 30 bore pistol was recovered from an accused Imtiaz Khan. Golra Police Station arrested Bilal for illegally selling petroleum products while Ramna Police Station nabbed Arif Shah for his involvement in mobile theft incidents, he added. The official said Industrial Area Police Station recovered two tampered vehicles from the accused Khawar Iqbal and Sabir and Koral Police Station nabbed a car thief Asif Khan.
